This was kind of cool to see so close up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pileated_woodpecker

Latrodectus variolus
So, we've got Black Widows in our garage. Apparently they put out a strand of silk when they hatch and let the wind take them somewhere. Then, they look for a pleasant sheltered spot to spin, eat, etc. So, this one was on the window screen. Not sure what to do with it, so Friday we fed it a Mayfly.
Here is one of the many Mayflies available. They apparently only live in their adult phase for 30 min. to 24 hours. Fat-chance of finding a mate in our garage anyway, so we didn't feel too bad.
Here they are getting to know each other.
So, most of Saturday was spent removing everything in the garage 5' or less from the floor, vacuuming, sweeping, etc. There was one outside the door to the garage after all that, so I hit it with the Benzomatic. I assume I got it, because I haven't seen it in a day or so.
